The Sun City Concert Band
Play the Music, Not the Instrument
   About us
The Sun City Concert Band was founded in 2003 with a starting group of 11 enthusiastic musicians. It has since grown into a performing group with fifty + members and a very busy concert schedule. The band performs several concerts yearly in Sun City, Huntley, IL. There is a Winter/Holiday Concert in December, a combined concert with the Huntley High School Bands in March and a Spring/Pops Concert in May as well as a summer outdoor concert celebrating the 4th of July.

In addition to the Sun City concerts, the band has performed at many venues in McHenry, Kane and Cook counties; at Senior Centers, Assisted Living Residences, Park Districts and private outings, as well as Huntley Fall-fest and Scandinavian Fest in South Elgin.

Under the direction of Pam Jorgensen, Musical Director, the band delivers a variety of musical entertainment which is sure to have you humming some of your favorites and tapping your toes to familiar tunes.
